79 – How pharmacy clinical decision support tools can unlock the power of your data

by Robert Leave a Comment

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Pharmacy clinical decision support tools

In this rapidly changing pharmacy landscape we are seeing our opportunities to thrive in a transaction and supply economy fading every day. Our patients are more demanding, not just on price, but on a more personalised experience often turning to Dr. Google, and wearable technology to discover more. With this increase in availability of information and data there has never been a better time to establish our pharmacies as primary healthcare destinations for patients to learn and discover what this means for them, as we translate their data and knowledge into wisdom. However, at present we are unable to unlock the insights from all the available data, as our systems work in silo and depend on our individual minds to analyse their patterns and deliver relevancy to our patients. This is neither efficient, replicable or scalable in our businesses. If you would like to learn about what data we need, and the decision support tools we can use now and in the future then you won’t want to miss this episode of the Transpharmation Show.

Our #pharmacy software needs to move from being a transaction record to a true patient record
