Having spoken to several pharmacy and business colleagues last week about this very topic, i wanted to put together a collection of the key resources & links (following my ‘Transpharmation’ method) which i am using at the moment to tackle this very goal myself.
Step 1: Education
Read or Listen to Virtual Freedom written by the outstanding authority on the topic Chris Ducker.
Having worked with Chris personally earlier this year, i have about 40 copies of his book in my Shop for the bargain price of $1.99 (plus postage).
Step 2: Discovery
I highly recommend first completing Chris’s 3-lists to Freedom exercise, you can access this via this link
This list of 101 tasks you can outsource will help you brainstorm some tasks that are relevant to you
Step 3: Partnership
I highly recommend when you’re ready to engage Virtual Staff Finder to assist you completing your first hire (I am using them personally at the moment)
To dip your toes into the processes discussed you can trial outsourcing a few light tasks (eg. Design a 1 page Pharmacy Brochure) via well known freelancer communities oDesk or Elance
For a bit of fun, you could even send your pharmacy logo to a lower quality task-based freelancer site Fiverr (where you will be amazed what you can get done for $5 US) to give it a Christmas theme (e.g for use on your Facebook page)
